Free Flicks is a summer-long series of outdoor movie showings throughout the Des Moines area parks and facilities. Every movie is free to the public.
The films will be shown on a 25-foot portable screen, and will begin after sunset around 9:00pm. Admission to the movies is free, and blankets and lawn chairs are encouraged. People are free to bring their own food and drinks as concessions will not be provided for purchase.
Des Moines neighborhood associations are welcomed to host a Free Flicks in 2014. All dates for the 2013 season are set, but if your group is interested in sponsoring for 2014 please apply next year! For questions, please contact bafunk@dmgov.org.

We go to the Colby Park series every summer, also free. They also have concessions for sale, and sometimes bounce houses, etc.
