Express yourself at Glazed Expressions

One of our favorite things to do when we are feeling artsy is head over to Glazed Expressions in Clive to do a quick project.  You can paint pottery, take a canvas painting class (or paint on canvas on your own) or do a glass fusing project.  Glass and pottery is ready to pick up after a week and canvas can be taken home on the same day.

We have to admit that we feel the $8 per studio session for an adult is a little steep since you are also paying for your art project.  But, the good news is they often run groupons and other social media deals that really make a difference. For example, this week you can purchase a groupon for 5 studio session for $10 or 10 sessions for $15.  Great deal.  The studio sessions can be used for canvas, pottery or glass sessions.  


Canvas classes are $35, pottery starts at $5 and averages $15 - $20 per piece and glass pricing is about $10-$16 per piece.  

The canvas classes make a great girls-night out.  You can bring your own food and alcohol!  They even have kids canvas painting sessions including some spring break sessions to check out.  Birthday parties are popular here too!  


My kid loves the pottery painting and they offer pieces like zombie mugs, angry bird, robot and superhero figures, etc, so the boys love it too!  I love the deviled egg plate. So cute!
