Free Splash Pads/Wading Pools 2013


Here is the list of free splash pads and wading pools straight from the Des Moines Parks and Rec website. American Legion Park is home to West Des Moines' only wading pool that is open during the summer months. Check out the list of places of some free water entertainment...We are fans of Ashby park. But let us know if there is one you really like!

    1. The West Des Moines parks & rec site says it should be open for the 2013 season! I haven't been there personally so I hope that info is accurate :)

  2. We went to the Legion Park splash park yesterday & it is open and lots of fun. Won't have water today (6-21) due to construction of the rest of the park, but will re open on Saturday.

    1. Wading/splash pools are often zero-entry, kids sized aquatic play areas. The one in WDM and ones in DSM are free :)
