CelebrAsian!

CelebrAsian is Des Moines' biggest annual celebration of Asian heritage.  2013 marked the festival's 11th year and was the biggest event the festival has seen.

The event is held at the State Capitol complex and hundreds of food and craft vendors wrap around tons of events, crafts, games and entertainment for kids and adults.

Come try some delicious food like pad Thai, curry, Korean beef tacos and more.  You will definitely have a culture-filled day at the festival.  Admission is FREE, but make sure you bring some cash because you are sure to want to try something to eat and maybe buy some souvenirs.

Make sure to pick up a "passport" when you get there to have stamped at various stations. When you get ten stamps you can show your completed passport at the station in the center of the festival for prizes!

Come downtown to the festival to enjoy the music, see the demonstrations and learn about Asian culture.

It's a great, fun event and we can't wait to go again next year!
